Am I eligible for Deposit Anywhere?
Deposit Anywhere is available to all Credit Union members who have account(s) in good standing.
How should I endorse checks for Deposit Anywhere?
The back of each check must include:
- The payee's signature
- The account number to which the check is being deposited
- The words “For Deposit via Deposit Anywhere”
- Today's date in mm/dd/yyyy format
How quickly will the deposit be credited to my account?
Checks submitted for deposit will be credited to your account as soon as the transaction is complete. If the check is accepted without any errors, it will be credited immediately. If it is held for review, you will receive an email informing you if it was accepted or rejected within one (1) business day.
What devices are supported for Deposit Anywhere?
Deposit Anywhere works with iPhones, iPads and Android phones and tablets. You can also access Deposit Anywhere on your computer through the BCU website.
How quickly will the funds be available for me to use?

How long can I view information about my submitted checks?
You will be able to view the previous 18 months of past deposits in Online Banking.
How long should I keep my check after I scan it using Deposit Anywhere?
Once you have scanned your check and your deposit has been credited to your account, you should securely store the original check for 90 days before destroying it.
What is the maximum dollar limit I can deposit via Deposit Anywhere?
The daily limit you can deposit is set at $25,000.00. Qualification for Deposit Anywhere limits is dependent on historical performance of the membership and is at the sole discretion of the Credit Union. The deposit amount can be from a single check or the total of multiple checks. If you need to have your limit temporarily increased, contact Member Relations at 800-388-7000, chat or secure message.
Are there any types of checks that can’t be submitted using Deposit Anywhere?
The following items cannot be submitted for deposit using Deposit Anywhere:
- Savings bonds
- Foreign checks
- Any item drawn on your BCU account
- Any item that is “stale-dated” or “post-dated”
- Any item that is incomplete (date missing, payee missing, etc.)
- Any item that contains evidence of alteration to the information on the check
- Any item that is stamped with a “non-negotiable” watermark
- Any third-party check (any item that is made payable to another party and then endorsed to you by that party)
